ve Burton, Chairman. Steve has over 25 years experience in business having co-founded two venture capital companies and two industrial companies. He was Managing Director of Rolls-Royce subsidiary Stresswave Technology which he acquired in a management buyout. Steve is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and is experienced in all aspects of building innovative companies, particularly the process of turning new technology into valuable products and services.
I’m Paul Blackburn, Deputy Chairman and co-founder of Intouch. As well as assisting my team to deliver what you need, my speciality is in helping clients with their communication strategy and planning, ascertaining their needs, and showing how our products can be deployed to meet their various objectives. My particular speciality is Information Prescriptions.
Dr Rohit Sethi is Medical Director and co-founder of the company. Rohit is a practising GP experiencing the challenges of primary care head on every day. He is also a fully trained hospital anaesthetist and so can give the team a broad insight into what we can do to help the NHS meet its objectives. Rohit’s speciality is Self Care Education.
Gordon Lorimer is our Managing Director. Gordon has tremendous experience in the areas of Self Service technology and the implementation of large and smaller scale IT solutions in healthcare. His speciality is in optimising the patient flow, the self service business case and the patient experience.
Paul Jenkins is our Finance Director who has been involved in the business since its foundation. Paul is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in commerce since qualification. Prior to joining Intouch he was FD at Brann, a direct marketing group which was sold to a US NYSE quoted corporation, and at GEC Avery Berkel. Paul is also FD at True Digital – a web design partner of Intouch. Richard Burt is Intouch’s Head of Technical Services. Richard has over 8 years experience delivering advanced healthcare solutions into the NHS. He specializes in Self Service technology where he has overseen the development and implementation of dozens of solutions across the UK and NI.
Mike Sanders is Intouch’s Head of Operations. Mike has many years experience in Healthcare IT and specializes in Self Service technology where he has planned and managed the implementation of numerous projects across the Primary and Secondary Care sectors both in the UK and Ireland.David Warburton is Intouch’s lead Patient Self Service Consultant. After 22 years in the NHS, David has specialised in the exciting area of patient self service. In addition to developing our customer base he has been responsible for helping Trusts to develop their business cases to support the deployment of patient self service applications.
Bernice Cass is one of Intouch’s Projects and Implementations Managers. With 7 years NHS background and experience in implementing IT Projects at an Acute Trust. Bernice will be primarily based in the South of England to support the patient self-service element of the company, for both new and existing clients alike.Robin Drummond-Hay has recently joined Intouch and brings over 20 years of experience of Project Management skills; the last four years working for the NHS in the Information, Management & Technology (IM&T) arena. Robin has also had papers published on Service Improvement in the NHS and has also worked with Manchester Business School to develop new ways of improving both the patient and clinician experience.
Andy Green is one of Intouch’s senior software developers. Andy has been successfully developing software for over 10 years including 3 years within the NHS. Andy is also able to draw on skills honed from 18 years in engineering. He brings a meticulous approach to development, an understanding of user requirements and a flair for debugging. His key skills are ASP.Net & SQL Server application development and all the underlying technologies.Steve Connolly is Intouch’s Technical Manager. Steve has been a developer for over 20 years using web, database and Windows technologies. He is responsible for support and development across a range of Intouch’s products and services plus infrastructure support.
Sue Bunn heads up Intouch’s new division developing Sexual Healthcare Support Software and has many years experience of working with healthcare providers and commissioners to devise IT systems which are fit for purpose.
Janet Smith is Intouch’s IT Manager and a systems analyst by background. Her main role is to define and manage the work of the technical team in building and maintaining Intouch’s various products, including patient surveys and patient check-in, and in setting them up and customising them for the company’s many clients.
Sharon Gater is responsible for Office Management as well as a number of projects at Intouch. She is responsible for the LB40 Project, Kiosk Logistics, Supplier Account Management and the new Help-Desk function. Sharon has a background in IT Project Management, working for a major pharmaceutical company. During this time she successfully managed a number of integration and interface projects linking ERP systems across manufacturing and commercial sites. After a break to raise her 2 beautiful children Sharon has restarted her career with Intouch.
Connie Baldwin is Intouch’s Finance Manager. Prior to joining Intouch Connie worked at EHSBrann for over 10 years as a Senior Project Manager. After a short career break, a love of spreadsheets and cash management inspired her to re-train as an Accountant. Connie is a student member of the AAT and is half way through the second year of the AAT Accounting Qualification. Setting her sights high she hopes one day to qualify as a Chartered Accountant.
Karen Hogan is Intouch’s Training and Project Support Manager. Karen has over 13 years experience as an IT Trainer, providing training and coaching in a classroom environment and also on a one to one basis on bespoke and Microsoft systems. She has a Diploma in Learning and Development and a Certificate in Training Practice. She is also a Member of the Institute of IT Trainers (MIITT) and an Associate member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development). Latest News
