New Pharmacy Kiosks

A new network of touch screen pharmacy kiosks nears completion in Birmingham. Intouch is working with its client Birmingham Health Exchange and Heart of Birmingham PCT to install a new network of 69 touch screen kiosks in pharmacies throughout the heart of Birmingham area.

The kiosks give all pharmacy visitors easy access to the Health Exchange website which has been designed to work with touch screen navigation. The website contains a wealth of information including:

• Details about local health services
• Information about medical conditions
• Health videos
• Self care education
• How to become a Health Exchange member
• Content in languages other than English

Once the initial service has bedded in, we will be looking to add other services to benefit the pharmacists and their customers, for example, a touch screen programme to help improve medication concordance and make MURs easier to complete.
