INFORM Sexual Health is a web based Sexual Health System for CASH, GUM, CSO and fully Integrated Sexual Health services, designed to enable entirely paperless working for all types of staff, cross clinic, cross region and cross network.Supporting the National Data Model for Sexual Health - INFORM is designed around the requirements of a modern sexual health service, supporting the national data model for both episodic and contact based summarising and reporting. INFORM includes unique management and analysis tools for service delivery, services analysis, service development and also capacity planning.
Truly Paperless Electronic Patient Records
Improving care consistency and quality, reducing costs - As a fully process-driven system, the comprehensive Electronic Patient Record is pathway and protocol driven, supporting multiple roles, across multiple settings and supporting services to achieve consistent, high quality care. Efficiency saving automation techniques aid fast data recording, reduce repetitive tasks and provide supporting information and guidance at the point of care. The system enables the paperless movement of patients through a live clinic from attendance, to and from different healthcare professionals, right through to discharge and/or onward referral.Managing workloads, ensuring patient safety, maximising efficiency
Alongside the Electronic Patient Record sits the Workload Manager. This provides the user with a workload or task based view that lists all patients requiring a specific next action. The provision of the Workload Manager enables labour-intensive processes to be fully automated and allows users to quickly and efficiently manage patients from a single point in the system. This dramatically improves efficiency, whilst ensuring all patients requiring further action are highlighted and that no patient is overlooked. Work lists include; Recall, Notification of Results, Contact Tracing, HA Call lists, and Exception task lists of patients who are in breach of defined Clinical Rules.Reducing Inappropriately Booked Appointments
A further unique feature of INFORM Sexual Health is Skill and Competency based clinic scheduling. To avoid inappropriately booked appointments this enables a patient’s needs to be matched to the clinic services on offer. INFORM supports a variety of Patient access methods including kiosk, telephone and the web. By matching patient requirements and, if required, also including triage, a patient will be automatically directed to the appropriate clinic.The system supports role-based user access with a highly configurable security element enabling full control of what users see, do and action. Patient confidentiality is fully supported.
