“Self-Serv” PC tablets, touch screens and kiosks
Intouch offers a wide range of self-service information technology and has built up 10 years of experience in this specialist field. Self Service will have a growing role in healthcare if costs are to be reduced and productivity increased. Self-service applications include patient check-in, way-finding, patient surveys, information prescriptions and more. Access can be via touch screen kiosks and other devices. This technology is also about increasing access to information and education for disadvantaged groups who do not have easy access to computers.A wide range of self-service options
There is a hardware solution to suit many different needs, for example:- wall mounted touch screens where space is at a premium
- floor mounted kiosks with integral printers where a fact sheet would be useful
- health kiosks with scanners to read bar codes on appointment letters or information prescription slips
- slimline PC tablets for use when the information has to be taken out to the patient
- PDAs for a pocket sized solution.
