Achieving a truly effective Sexual Health IT System

Market research shows that in GUM, CASH and Chlamydia service delivery environments, Sexual Health IT systems are deficient or non- existent.

INFORM, the new system from Intouch with Health, has many features which no other existing system offers. It has been designed to make resource planning easier, reporting to be in line with national and local requirements, and the patient experience much more satisfactory and secure.

Meeting the needs of GUM, CASH and Chlamydia service providers

Intouch has worked closely with those in the front line of sexual health service provision – clinicians, managers and administrators – to understand the challenges they face and what they need from an IT system to support their daily work. With an acceleration of joined up working and new networks spanning GUM, CASH and Chlamydia services, it was clear that any new system would have to be useable across ALL these areas to support the needs of providers, commissioners, and those organisations responsible for gathering data for national and local analysis.
