Establishing Information Prescriptions

All Trusts are supposed to be establishing Information Prescriptions this year. Intouch’s info2you web software supports the whole process of prescribing and then dispensing information using a wide variety of methods. It includes the facility for “pre-set” prescriptions which are clusters of information, national and local, which are judged to be appropriate to key stages on the patients care pathway, eg “newly diagnosed”. These pre-sets make IP viable for busy health professionals who can issue a personalised prescription, in a language other than English, in as little as 10 seconds (5 mouse clicks).

Information Prescriptions – Strategy and Planning

Many healthcare providers and commissioners are wrestling with the challenge of introducing Information Prescriptions and the change in working practices that this necessitates.
