The into... system is designed to work in a browser across a network.
This can be a browser running on a kiosk and across a hospital network, or, of course, a browser on a home PC and running across the Internet.
Typically launched from the Trust website or from a web address on the appointment letter, the system follows the flow of the kiosk check-in but referring to “clicking” rather than “pressing”, and not giving a barcode reading option.
Therefore, just as they might do now prior to a flight, patients can check-in at home for their convenience, at the same time increasing organisational efficiency.
Online flight check-in involves:
- Identifying your flight
- Verifying or entering some personal demographic detail
- Answering some pre-flight questions (...do you have any sharps...?)
- Option to print your boarding card
- Customer experience advice is often given here such as parking options.

- Option to print your appointment letter
