In between patient announcements the display is used to broadcast appropriate content. This content can be from the well stocked NHS Choices video library and made available to the Trust at no charge.

When a patient is called on the PAS, the screen displays the appropriate message calling the patient by the method preferred by the Trust.
Some Trusts may choose to stream TV onto the digital displays.
Text-to-voice audio announcements can be made. These may simply be the announcement of a number that was previously given to a patient on a printed ticket where the check-in kiosk supports printing.
